Dr. Jack Hensel, Jr.
Dr. Hensel was born and raised in the Kansas City area. He received his medical degree in 1994 from the University of Kansas School of Medicine after which he came to Charleston for his general surgery training. After an additional year of surgery training in Akron, OH, he completed a residency in plastic surgery at the Summa Health System, also in Akron. He finished his plastic surgery training in December 2000 with a fellowship at Nashville Plastic Surgery. In Nashville, Dr. Hensel trained with the internationally renowned surgeons Dr. G. Patrick Maxwell, Dr. Jack Fisher and Dr. Mary Gingrass. The fellowship strongly emphasized cosmetic and reconstructive breast surgery and a large volume of facial aesthetic surgery, liposuction and body contouring (tummy tucks, thigh lifts, etc.)
